Event Highlights:

US Freestyle Championships

This past weekend, Deer Valley Resort hosted the 2014 U.S. Championships, which included moguls, aerials, and dual mogul competitions, the nation’s top freestyle athletes competed for the title of national champion. Olympians, Hannah Kearney, Brad Wilson, and Ashley Caldwell, were among the competitors and put forth excellent runs. Deer Valley once again provided the ideal venue for a freestyle competition and athletes were treated to excellent conditions and a large crowd of spectators.

Pond Skimming and Spring Gruv

At the 7^th Annual Spring Gruv Pond Skimming competition at the Canyons Resort (our town’s splashiest spring event), competitors wore outrageous costumes and wielded elaborate props to the delight of the large crowd of enthusiastic spectators. A few contestants managed to cross the length of the constructed pond while others elected to make a splash entrance. The event also included live music, children’s games, and barbeque. Easter Celebration & Egg Hunt April 20, 2014

The spring celebration culminates in the Resort’s traditional Easter celebration and on-mountain egg hunt on Easter Sunday, April 20. The Easter Bunny hosts a kids’ exclusive egg hunt in the Kids’ Korral, while hunters of all ages can scour the mountain for treat-filled eggs and the two prized Golden Eggs – each holding a 2014-15 season pass. April 20 is also the resort’s scheduled Closing Day.

On June 21, 2014 join Park City's longest dining table during Savor the Summit's The Grande Table event. One long dinner table graces the length of Main Street, allowing for over 1500 diners to join in the celebration of fabulous food, outdoor dining, live music and summer in the mountains.
