Born and raised in the two time Olympic village of Lake Placid, NY, I first came to UT in 1980. I fell in love with the state of Utah, the city of Salt Lake, the mountains and the people.
My father was named to five Olympic teams and commentated for ABC Wide World of Sports for 22 years. My parents built a motel and it is run by our family to this day. Given that Skiing and a love of sports runs in my blood, I have been a ski instructor at Snowbird Ski Resort for over twenty years. I consider myself a walking and skiing ambassador of UT.
Licensed in real estate since the early 1990's I consider it an honor to help sellers get the best marketing and price for their homes. I'm equally passionate about helping buyers find the perfect home for them at a great price.
My husband is a retired air traffic controller and a near scratch golfer. My daughter is a student at the University of Utah, majoring in Parks and Recreation with an emphasis on hospitality, and is a serious equestrian. My step-daughter is a pre-med student at Concordia College in NY. We all own a rescue English Bulldog named Cherry Blossom and she is one of the great loves of our lives. As a family we are all deeply integrated in this awesome community.
My passions include being a wife, mother, skier, golfer, swimmer, hiker as well as reading, shopping and travel.
Thank you and I greatly look forward to the pleasure of getting to know you and working with you!
Alexis, from Berkshire Hathaway Utah, was incredible to work with! She met with my husband and I right away to help us find an investment property. We are from California and did not know the area or the Utah market. Alexis was great in showing us around and was very patient when we asked her to take our daughter to see several homes in one afternoon. Our daughter found the home and we presented the offer from California. With Alexis’ help we were able to close in one month. We saw the house for the first time after receiving the keys and we are thrilled with our purchase. We could not have done this without Alexis and would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home in Utah! - Laurie Hargreaves
"Alexis worked tirelessly to sell our rental home for us. Since we live out of state she spear-headed the whole process starting with inspecting the house and arranging for needed repairs to working on improving the curb appeal of the house to get it ready for open house. She kept us fully involved and informed throughout the entire process and sent us many pictures and updates. When she heard of anything that might influence the value of the home, e.g. future street widening possibilities, she went to city planning meetings and reported back to us about decisions that might affect our plans with the house. Alexis has a broad knowledge of the Salt Lake area and was able to give us very good advice about buying and selling trends that helped us cope with a long-distance sale. She was always warm and friendly to work with and was a delight to interact with. Her attention to detail and diligence made the paper work associated with the real estate transaction very straight-forward. Every deadline was met despite the fact we are so far away and had to conduct all business electronically. My husband and I highly recommend Alexis to anyone needing a hard working real estate agent with great enthusiasm for her locale and clients."
"It was a pleasure to work with Alexis Norling in the sale of my condo in Park City . Alexis is professional, personable and very knowledgeable about the market. She will go the extra mile and pays attention to every detail. Alexis is a delight to work with and I can’t recommend her enough!" - Ali Cardinale
"Alexis was a joy to work with; knowledgeable and professional, she worked tirelessly to find me the “right” house. She made sure the transaction went smoothly, coordinating the inspections with the sellers and their broker, and making certain everything was properly addressed. She genuinely cares about her clients and works hard to protect them. The electronic paperwork and her knowledge of the process made the purchase completely stress-free (Yay!)."- smshedden
