Katheryn O'Connor has been in love with Park City since she was a little girl. Originally from Southern California, she regularly traveled to Park City to enjoy the outdoors with her family. After getting her Masters Degree in Science, in Occupational Therapy at Tufts University, she briefly moved to Park City to teach skiing at the National Ability Center, an adaptive program for enabled folks with life challenges, as well as start a hippotherapy non profit from a grant she wrote and received. She then married her F-18 Navy pilot husband, and began a journey of traveling and deployments during which she worked as an Occupational Therapist with a focus on pediatrics, neurology, and brain rehabilitation. Some of her greatest professional moments were assisting survivors of traumatic brain injuries, learning to walk and talk again through a specialty type of rehab called hippotherapy. Katheryn also has a long and varied background as an athlete and coach. After many deployments and being diagnosed with cancer, Katheryn made a conscious choice with her husband to make Park City their permanent home for themselves and their three young children. Katheryn grew up loving home design with an interior decorator as a mother. She developed her own design eye and love of learning about real estate wherever she lived. After moving to Park City with her family, she decided to switch gears and dive full time into real estate. Katheryn’s people skills and her experience caring for others as an occupational therapist and fitness coach has translated seamlessly over into her new real estate career. She is grateful to be healthy, raising three beautiful children, and helping her real estate clients find their perfect homes in Park City. When Katheryn is not energetically assisting clients marketing their homes or finding their perfect home, you can find her volunteering at her children’s schools and participating in the many activities an athlete-at-heart in Park City may be doing.
