Chad Carter has always been surrounded by real estate; starting at an early age, he was drawn to blueprints and remodels thanks to his Mom’s Interior Design career. His parents bought, remodeled, and sold homes constantly throughout his childhood which contributed to his keen eye for conceptual design, architecture, and staging. Chad knows what it takes to sell homes and what to look for on behalf of his clients. Chad has lived, worked, and played in Salt Lake City and Park City since 1983 and because of this he has a strong connection to and understanding of the Wasatch. Everywhere Chad goes, he finds someone he knows. After growing up and owning businesses in Park City for years, friends like to joke that he is the “unofficial mayor” of Park City as everyone seems to know and respect him. Highly motivated by connecting with people, he loves to share his knowledge and experience in order to help his clients make the most informed decisions. As the Co-owner of The j² Group, a corporate event-planning group that ran high-end events worldwide from 2001-2012, he demonstrated himself as a proven troubleshooter and someone who works effortlessly with others. Not only was Chad an integral part of the conceptual design, he was also central to the managing and coordinating of each event and of assuring each client’s total satisfaction. Running the event is where Chad shined, as he constantly had to adjust on the fly and think on his feet, all while maintaining poise and making sure that the event continued seamlessly. This experience gives clients the ease of mind they are looking for when going through any real estate transaction. Since entering real estate, Chad and his team have continued to put customer service first by taking care of clients’ needs to the last detail. He is a true people person and has a real ability to work smoothly with others which translates into more pleasurable transactions.
