After visiting Moab for several years, Angela moved to Moab in 2001 to be a Mountain Bike Tour Guide for Rim Tours, her dream job at the time. Impressed by the natural beauty and immense opportunities for outdoor recreation, she quickly realized that many lifetimes wouldn’t be enough to explore this magnificent landscape! Even more impressive was the community. The beauty and outdoor recreation brought Angela to Moab but it is the community that has kept her here. Five years ago, Angela started a yoga studio in Moab after one of her friends kept insisting that we needed one in town and that she should be the one to do it. Moab Yoga is a vibrant yoga community of teachers and students that are passionate about feeling good and sharing that with one another. In addition to owning the yoga studio, Angela managed a private residence for seven years. This experience gave her an understanding of what it takes to maintain a property in Moab, especially a higher end home. After buying property in Moab herself, Angela found she was still interested in the real estate market. Since she couldn’t reasonably buy all of the properties she was interested in, she thought it would be fun to help others. Fun is what it has been! Angela finds it very rewarding to help friends new and old find a property where they can make a home, grow a business, and create their life in Moab. Angela is a mother who loves to play outside with and without the kids. This is when she feels most alive! Carving time for mountain biking, skiing, and other outdoor activities is essential to her well-being. The family dog, Sport, is a rescue pup that fulfills his name by keeping up with an active family or inspiring them to keep up with him. Angela’s community interests surround enriching and supporting our youth. She has volunteered to teach yoga and mountain biking with the BEACON after school program. Currently, she volunteers teaching yoga once a week at the high school through Mindfulness in Education. Angela is also interested in Water Conservation, Affordable Housing and Higher Education in Grand County.
