Joy was raised in New Jersey, Virginia, and California. After graduating from college, Joy attended law school at the University of Utah. Joy went on to practice law as a prosecutor for eighteen years, working for Salt Lake County and Summit County, where she specialized in prosecuting special victims cases and crimes against children.
Joy decided to obtain her real estate license because she is deeply committed to helping and serving others. She no longer actively practices law and instead focuses her full attention on representing buyers and sellers in the residential real estate market as a valued member of the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services team.
As both a licensed attorney and a licensed REALTOR®, Joy is known for her abilities as an excellent communicator, an effective negotiator, an innovative problem-solver, and a zealous advocate for her clients’ best interests. Her reputation is built on the principles of trust, integrity, and professionalism.
Joy has resided in the Cottonwood Heights and Millcreek areas of the Salt Lake valley. In her spare time, Joy enjoys traveling internationally, following the Utes, trying new local restaurants, and taking her beloved Border Collie on walks in the park.
Joy can successfully assist you in navigating through the complex process of buying or selling a home while minimizing your legal risk. Whether you’re looking to move across town or to relocate to Utah from another part of the country, Joy can educate you on existing market conditions and help you find the perfect home that meets your unique needs.
