After 15 years of selling Park City Real Estate with his top-producing mother, Barb, Jason is setting out on his own now that she has retired. It has been a unique and rewarding experience working with his mother and he will miss having her as his partner (though she remains his mentor), but he's ready for this next chapter and pledges to continue her legacy of unparalleled professionalism, strict attention to ethics and excellence in customer service going forward. According to various testimonials from his clients, his strengths include being extremely knowledgeable about the local market, being an excellent listener and communicator, exhibiting patience, calm and professionalism in the face of sometimes tense negotiations and situations, and being an innovator, having sold several homes sight unseen to distant clients via live video tours long before these current times of Zoom meetings, etc. Finally, for anyone needing a Spanish speaking agent, look no further.
Jason has been skiing Park City since the mid 1970s when his Utah native parents first bought a vacation home here and he has seen the town transform into what it is today. Having grown up overseas in Brussels and Mexico City, Park City is the closest thing to a hometown he has ever known. He holds a BS in Business Economics, and a BA in Spanish from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and an Int’l MBA from Thunderbird in Glendale, AZ. In 1999, after 6 years of touring North America as a professional musician, he moved to Park City, bought a restaurant on Main Street, which he sold in 2005, then joined his mom selling houses.
Though his passions are being a dad and making his clients happy selling Real Estate, he can also be found skiing, running, boating, playing music, gardening and raising chickens. He is also actively involved in fund-raising and as a chairperson for the Wasatch Back Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease, a cause which is deeply personal to him.
